Dr. Krista Shapiro has dedicated 13 years to teaching special education.

Krista holds a Bachelor's degree from Towson University in General Education and Deaf Studies, equipping her with a comprehensive grasp of the general curriculum and school expectations. She also earned a Master’s degree from Towson University in Special Education for ages birth to 21 and has a certification in School Administration. Furthermore, she is a National Board Certified Teacher in special education and a Board Certified behavior analyst-doctoral. In addition, she has obtained a doctorate in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis from Capella University.

Her expertise includes navigating the IEP process, implementing school-wide supports, and executing behavioral interventions.

Krista is well-prepared to assist your family throughout various academic programs. Her ultimate goal is to see students reach their fullest potential.
